Nevins has an exciting announcement. We are starting a new program called Nevins’ Abilities and Possibilities Program.
The program offers:
The Participant:
Social, recreational, and stimulating activities in a safe and supportive environment; an increase in self-worth and dignity through a gentle, sensitive care and kindness; assistance in avoiding early and/or inappropriate institutionalization; education, motivation, and support for good personal care; support to maintain as much personal independence as possible.The Family:
Support and information to family members of aging and disabled adults; and referral to other community agencies as necessary.The Community:
A model program for persons who need supervision while serving as a viable community resource.Nevins Abilities and Possibilities Program operates Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. until 2 p.m.
A typical day begins with current events and goes on to include story sharing, reality orientation, exercise, music, games, arts & crafts, puzzles, parties, aromatherapy, and socialization experiences. Regularly scheduled entertainment, parties, and seasonal events provide sensory and social stimulation. Quality care is the aim of all our activities and services. Activities are age appropriate and designed with the purpose of trying to get everyone involved. We desire to help your loved one stay as happy, healthy, and alert as possible.
The program will be funded through private funding in addition to self pay. Program participants will be required to pay $150 monthly fee.
